Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity within our clients HR Team. The current post holder is planning for his retirement from the business over the next few years and will gradually reduce his working hours/days to prepare for this major event!

If successful you would be working with him on a part-time basis to gain an understanding of the requirements of the role to ensure business compliance training takes place as well as developmental training. This is a key role within the HR team and the post holder will have the opportunity to work across all areas of the business identifying key activities that will support the development of the business and our people.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience or working within a Manufacturing environment is a distinct advantage

Skilled in Microsoft 365

Excellent attention to detail

Effective communicator, confident, articulate with persuasive interpersonal skills – ability to operative in a multi-functional environment.

Strong business awareness, results orientated, enthusiastic, energetic, and committed.

Enjoys working as part of a team and delivering results both independently and as part of a team.

Resilient with a good sense of humour.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of our HR Director and the key responsibilities for the role are as follows: -

Key responsibilities –

To support the HR team and all Managers to reach their full potential by identifying and supporting them with their Learning & Development needs by – identifying L&D options, researching options, recommending options, managing contracts and budgets.

To support in delivering leadership programmes, e.g. PRIDE

To develop and deliver an induction process that provides a great experience for all new recruits.

To conduct and document skills and support departments to avoid duplication.

To manage ongoing innovative and forward thinking projects.
